Exploring natural dye colouration techniques with a focus on repurposing flower waste from local florists to create my final garment. Researching the process of bundle dyeing to create botanical prints from petals of flowers. My garment represents growth from a tender bud to full bloom. I consciously used seasonal flowers to create vibrant patterns and colours inspired by India Flint and Eco-age’s study of eco-printing/bundle dyeing. My garment captures nature’s beauty in Aotearoa.
