ABBY BROWN
Kia ora, I am a Textile Designer who just recently finished my final honours year of my degree at Massey University, Wellington.
I have a wide range of skills including designing for fashion and interiors, photography, styling and basic graphic design. I have learnt processes such as surface screen printing, knitting on domestic machines, weaving on loom, dyeing, curating mood boards and exhibiting design. I am passionate about colour theory and innovative solutions.
I believe design provides rewarding learning opportunities and allows me to practice creativity tangibly. I am passionate about quality, sustainable and ethical designs, bringing joy to people through my work. I am inspired by designing textiles that encourage clients/customers to be bold and expand their options with colour and texture.
I am an enthusiastic and social individual at heart and thrive off a team working environment, working together on projects with a group of people provides a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
