I have been inspired by sensory landscapes for this project. I have researched into synesthesia which is a ‘perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sense leads to involuntary experiences in a second sense pathway.’
I decided on the topic of synesthesia grapheme colour to gain knowledge and explore the creative visuals people with this condition may see. Although I don’t have a personal connection to this, I think it’s great to express and learn what grapheme colour syntheses experience and feel in the landscape.
